TRADITIONNAL PAINTINGS
Oil
I make my own painting, using almost only natural pigments, and boiled linseed oil. This oil brings an amber shade to the painting and increases its shine, which I find particularly interesting.
Pastel
I started my animal portraits with pastel pencils, really precise and perfect to draw fur and hair. It was a natural choice, as I have always loved drawing with lots of details !
Ink
Spontaneous, live, ink is also a delicate medium, that doesn’t forgive that easily. From time to time, changes can be so refreshing and resourceful, right?
DIGITAL PAINTINGS
Everything started when…
A few years ago, I bought my very first tablet, a little Bamboo by Wacom. At first, it was mainly for logo design.
Then, a little less than 3 years ago I was very lucky to discover the Procreate app on iPad Pro, and I added simple sketches to my digital workflow.
Digital painting is now a huge part of my working routine. I draw on Procreate of course, but I also added other apps optimised for ipad to my workflow: Affinity [Photo & Designer], Pixelmator Pro, Luma Fusion and many more.
Today it is rare to see me without my tablet…
